Austin’s story

Most kids have a love for sports, video games, or collecting comics. Austin’s begins different than most. At an early age, he was introduced to a love for vehicles. His grandfather was a local business owner with a passion for anything that involves a motor as well as animals. Growing up in a convenience store in the 90s may not have been the most ideal place to learn life lessons, it set an example to build a strong relationship with all customers.

In the early 2000s, Austin’s grandfather opened Bobby’s Auto Sales on main street of Clayton NC. By the age of 12, he was attending auctions and learning the business. This would turn into a hobby throughout his high school career as his grandfather would close his car lot due to health issues.

In 2010, Austin began a successful career with Manheim Auto Auctions for the next 8 years. This is the largest automotive auction in the world. Working closely with dealers up and down the east coast, he was able to understand more about the operations of the business. Strong relationships were built during this time to build what would become NC Motorsports.

Fast forward to today, NC Motorsports is becoming a well-known name in the Johnston County community that provides quality trucks, SUVs, and anything offroad alongside providing you an array of aftermarket products from our huge variety of distributors!
